Using Rare Books and Special Collections Library Resources in Your Assignments In-Person
This session will introduce faculty to ways that they can have their students use original resources curated by the RBSCL for class assignments. A variety of examples will be shared about how faculty have done this in the past, by developing assignments ranging from mounting exhibitions, to making analyses of documents or correspondence, to writing historical fiction based on archives. Faculty can bring examples of learning outcomes for their classes and during the session there can be discussion of how these can be linked to use of RBSCL rare materials to achieve those goals.
